A little bit about me.

Hey Lovelies,

Before we dive into all that is to come from Lesbopolitan, I figured I would introduce myself to you.

My name is Natalie, I'm sure you have guessed that or figured that out by now ;) I live in Nashville TN, and moved here from Northern California about 6 years ago.

I am an artist. Paint, sketch, design, etc. I love all things creative basically. I have been married to my wife for 2 years now, and together for 4. I have been "out" for 4 years as well. I am sure I will give the full story about us, but for now I am keeping this intro simple. I love fashion, color, and wine. I'm not afraid to speak my mind, and 95% of the time my mind is dirty...so if you are a prude, you probably are going to hate this blog and also me, so you can gracefully exit now, because ain't no body got time for haters :)

My main purpose and goal for this is to create a place where women can feel safe to be...women. A place where you find your confidence physically, sexually, and most importantly, internally.  There are a lot of women out there-single or not, that could use a place full of advice for relationships with other women. A lot of people think "Oh, two women in a relationship-that sounds so easy", and yes there are A LOT of things about it that are AMAZING, but lesbihonest, it is just like any other relationship...it can be HARD AF. And not the good kind of hard ;) (yes girls can have boners too). ANYWAY, I want something that helps women out there like me, that are just sick of all the magazines and blogs that lead with the title.."10 ways to please your man today". I know I'm not alone in wanting something for women. And I will not be doing this alone. I will be seeking out other women for tips and advice, as well as interviews with women you should know about.

I have SO much planned for this, I'm not going to give it all away now, but it's going to be amazing!

So if I haven't freaked you out yet, A. you are awesome and we should be friends, and B. follow along, because trust me, you aren't going to want to miss out on all that is to come.

XOXO, Lovelies

Keep up with me on socials.

Welcome to LESBOPOLITAN

WELCOME!

To all my girls out there that also love girls, this ones for you

Have you ever been in the store and decided to pick up a magazine, in hopes to find some sort of advice for you and your woman? but all you find is 69 ways to please him. ya i know, i do the same thing. a long roll-of-the-eyes expression and you put the magazine back on the rack, except this time you face it backwards out of spite :)

why can't there be something out there that gives advice to women who are into other women? Like a cool place where you find fashion advice that doen't cost $$$$, a place where you get advice on how to communicate, because lets be honest, whatever you find in those other magazines does not work.

Example in a magazine you might find on the shelf:
"Ladies, men do not like to communicate, so make sure you get him in the right mood to do so. Make him a nice dinner, bring him a beer while he is watching T.V., and of course always go down on him."

Well maybe the latter might work for her ;) My point is, most of the information you find in these, is all about him, not her, but him. Not to mention it is all pretty unrealistic to begin with.

Now this is where Lesbopolitan comes in. A realistic, fun, stylish, and classy place to get all the advice, tips, and latest news in the lesbian world.

Here you will find a place that gives you all you need to know to better your relationship with your lady. Here you will find fun fashion tips and advice. Here you will find lifestyle tips (decor, travel, recipes, etc). Here you will find sex tips and advice that actually makes sense for you. Here you will find the latest and hottest lesbians you need to know about. Here you will find a world filled with art, culture, travel, and so much more.

sit back, relax, and come along for what is soon to be an exciting journey. Hell, you don't even have to be a lesbian to read this. We all could use some realistic advice and shopping tips, am i right?  And lesbihonest, we all love girls ;)

Oh, and i'm Natalie by the way, your official editor and chief of Lesbopolitan. Let's do this!

XOXO, Lesbos!
